Welcome to Elsons Tools & Builders Merchants.

We are an independent family owned business founded in 1968 by Eddie Elson.

Operating from Fairbridge Road in London for 43 Years.

In 2011 the business relocated to St Albans.

Also in 2011 we acquired Healy's Tools, a well-known and respected power tool retailer based in Hertfordshire. We continued to operate under the Healy's Tools name until 2021 when we rebranded the whole company to better serve our customers.

We currently operate from three sites. Our HQ in St Albans offering collection of light and heavy side materials and our whole power tool range, and two smaller trade counters in London N1 and N19 offering light side materials and hardware.

The power tool side of the business has built a reputation to offer a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable service. The vast majority of our products are available for free next day delivery at great prices. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional customer service, making your experience shopping with us as helpful and straightforward as possible. We are currently upgrading our systems to be able to offer click and collect from all of our locations for our tools accessories and consumables and in the future will be adding our builders merchants range as well.
